Is the dizzyless astra CDi 1.6 engine the same as the late GSi engine fitted to a nova?? I got offered one and i wanna see if it is all the same i.e engine, box, ecu

does it have a plenum chamber and throttle body like the gte/gsi/sri engines

if so then it is

if not its an SPi 1.6 = shite

the engine gear box should be the same but if you wan to fit it youll ahve to change the engine mounting brackets cause they are differnet from astra to nova.
