mk1 front bumper

hi, i have a 1.2 mk1 nova fling. i was looking at the front bumper and i couldnt see any joints where you would take it off to put on a new one, it just joins up at the sides to the front wings. please help, and let me know how i would put on a different bumper, i thought that maybe you just take off the old grey bits, and then put the new bumper over top of the original? please help, thanks, rob.

remove the grill,then just under your lights there is two bolts,undo the nuts then slide off the side's from out off the clips on the wings,then withdraw the bumper off the car..hope this helps.

as scott said or look under the arch and u will see 2 bolts either side undo these and the 2 bars holding the bumper to the car will come out. if not just do the two bolts under the lights although they are hard to get off and on.

yes when i got my first nvoa i thought the bumper was kind of stuck on (lol, god knows why) anyway its got a bumper bar and irons behind it that slide into the slam panel and bolt into the inner wings, if that makes sense, haynes explains it well. Allthough i didnt believe haynes when it was talking abt the bolts inside the wing it confused me to start with! ;)
