as it says, between a 1.4 sr and a 1.4 luxe engine wise as mel1 on here has the chance of one ?800 jreg, 70 thou, slight touch off rust on one arch, tax and test, what do you reckon worth it???? ;)

1.4sr are much quicker than the luxe's. 1.4sr's have different cam, carb, manifold, zorst, and maybe even head (not sure about the head)
so there's quite a lot of difference...a 1.2 nova would be about the same speed as a 1.4luxe i think...there's not a lot of point goin 4 the luxe cos it's a 1.4 and u think it'll be quick, cos they're not!
?800 doesn't sound too bad mate...;)

I would've thought a 1.4 engine would be a better starting point than a 1.2, even if you only add a filter, exhaust etc. I may be wrong, I don't really know much about engines.
Mmmmm forbidden donut. :)

I think that 1.4 is the single point injection. If so stay away.
