Do it once, do it properly.

I lowered mine 60mm on standard SR shox. Didnt have thetracking done, bored up all my tyres. Brand new tyres, the tracking was 19mm out. I need new tyres. I did have this sorted but not for a few months.

I've just totally killed my shox, my car bounces about all over the place now. :?

I've just had to buy some new shocks.

I've worked it out, my tyres were ?80 each, the shox cost me ?70, the tracking x2 ?40, lowering my car, has cause me an unnecesassary expense of ?190. so get it done properly first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^^ standard ones should be fine if you replace them with new ones. the one's that bust could have been on the car for 13 years plus. lol

And lol at ?40 for tracking! Anyway dont feel too bad about it, eben if you had it done properly, at -60mm your tyres would still get worn on the inside edge extremely quickly unless you mod the camber. And at least it was a set of tires at ?120 a pop.

I bought my 17's and tyres, and two weeks later had to buy three new tyres due to some workmen leaving a shitload of nails on the road, and i ended up with 7 in one, 5 in another, and 8 in another after driving over them!! The tyres were punctured too much to be 'repaired'.
