Just to let everyone know, i have changed my username fro purplenova to 2litreturbo

This is due to the fact i no longer use the purplenova but i do use the 2litreturbo

The purplenova is being sold and it has caused a bit of confusion at meets when people have been looking for it and i'm driving round in the turbo

If anyone thinks i should change it back, let me know.

i waited a month and a half for a digital dash and when it arrived it had no transducer - luckily enough the 1.2i transducer i had powered it fine...

im sure i heard of at least one other person that had problems with stuff back then but ive heard nothing since so im guessing hes sorted his act ;)

neiloakley is still here. I never changed my name. I got a new car. And it's not as if i'm trying to kep it a secret. I put a post up saying FORMERLY PURPLENOVA so i cant be more honest than that. This has come up before and i have explained what happened. I can give you a list of people who have bought stuff from me and you are more than welcome to get a reference!

if u look at some of his replies u will c that he only tries to help people out where he can!!

purplenova was my username. Neil Oakley is my name. I have changed my username to 2litreturbo because i no longer have the purplenova.

I have not tried to run away and hide and i haveb't tried to di it secretly. I put a post in the main forum telling people i was changing my username.

If you can find me one post where i have said i built this car then fine, but i haven't. Everyone who has asked me knows the storey behind the car and i still keep the previous owner up to date on the car.

Unlike some people, i dont have the facilities to keep novas to prep them . I already have one 2.0 nova that i did EVERYTHING to (see http://www.purplenova.co.uk.

This car is being used while the other is in my garage. I am selling the purple one and them with the space building up a mk1 escort for the missus.

But i had a limited amount of cash to spend. So for the money, this is the fastest car i could get. There is no other car about that is as fast and as mint as this for the same money. I have only spent time on it doing stuff that doesn't need a workshop (like stereo and dvd).

Once the purple nova is gone the car building will begin again.

Next time, dont make assumptions.

the yellow one was written of by a mk4 fiesta going straight on in a right turn lane. Got more back from the insurance than i bought it for so bought a white one that is now the purple one.

nah yellow one is in a scrap yard somewhere. I kept the vents and the skirts but the skirts were never fitted to the yellow one. Just held on for the picture by the fax the door was closed! lol

Neil built the purple nova up and did a bloody good job on it...he wanted something higher and got the turbo, so what he didnt build it...oooooo cos that takes so much away from him.
