ive got a problem on decidin if the replacement panel ive got is the right one.ive got a 92 mk2 nova n the rear panel was rotten to fuck (this is the panel that the rear bumper mounts to thru the boot.) so i drilled out the spots welds and took the old section out.
ive bought a new panel from sel-imperial.co.uk and the part is listed as 89 mk1 but this is shown in the mk2 parts section. so i assume its the same on both??? (wen i held it to the car it doesnt look like the right fit) ive took the old one off perfectly as i drilled the spot welds. are they the same panel??? or do i need to swap it?

I've heard of other ppl having trouble fitting this rear panel, so don't let the fact its not an easy fit put u off!!

I need to get a new rear panel for mine, but because my Nova has been hit up the arse the top of the rear panel where the boot locks to does'nt seem to be part of the rear panel.

Do Vauxhall list a part ike what Im talking about?

it is mate its spot welded all the way around the panel, the panel dus fit (very well infact) the panel doesnt go over the top of the old metal left it slots in between it and it all lines up perfect.
