whats the best car to get a wiper arm for a single wiper kit, is the 306 rear any good? need to know before i go to the scrappy, cheers

i bought one of the Storm conversions, will i be able to fit a wiper arm off another car, or did they use a different fitting thingy i.e. different size thingy. lol you know what i mean!

got one of there chrome wiper arms, and it's gone rusty as fuck over winter! though it appears to be surface rust, i can't be arsed polishing it off.

Ive got the 306 rear one (if you can remember my car). It has done me fine for 2 years and doesn't look too bad. Make sure you get the one without the nosle for the rear window washer

how long dus it take to fit the storm kit? dus tha arm luk gud?

10 minutes to fit, and the arm looks good. choice of black plastic arm cover or chrome wiper blade for ?15 extra.

though that's at time of ordering, as i ended up havning to pay ?50 for the chrome arm later on! Not buying another one now.

I made mine by cutting/reshaping the T-piece. Cost ?0. 306 rear wiper ?15

ive got the 306 rear on my single wiper - yes they are the same spindle marty :+:

the problem with the storm wiper is you cant lift the wiper off the screen with the cover on.

my cover broke - where it loops under the wiper to hold itself on, sun got to it made it brittle and snapped it off, so the top was forever flapping at high speeds.

personally..... i prefer the look of the storm one also. so its a bit of a wounder it broke.

the 306 wiper arm isnt quite as long as the storm one, so dosent clear quite as much screen. to rectify this, us a longer blade! thats what i did.

the storm cover is quite chunky, and has square edged and looks more at home IMO.
