does any body know if a mk1 door will fit a mk2 car

I thought they were all the same, but when I went to vauxhall they said the early Mk1s (with the all in one bumper & grille, i.e. D reg and earlier) won't fit later ones (separate bumper & grille, E reg and later)

yeah mate, just make sure if its a 3 door u put another 3 door, door onit :D i know its common sense but i know of a bloke that put a 3 door on a 5 door
