This time i've made myself a number plate light.

Start off with a numberplate light off ebay, then realise it's ugly as fook and massive!
(mobiles phones are for size reffenece)

http://www.stuffing.freeserve.co.uk/light/06.jpg

Then get on with modding it, take off the top...
http://www.stuffing.freeserve.co.uk/light/05.jpg

Then cut it in half...

I also mover the light and terminals closer to the front(right handside) but cutting and superglueing them, you can see the rectangle gap where the light was.

Stick on the front..

And then i remade a cover in mesh which i will then skim with filler and shape...

Looks better then the big black box it was and it's shapped better, and also going to spray it the same colour as my car.

i bet u`v smoothed every thing off and got the car looking round and neat, then u`r gunna stick that great big lump of filler on it and totally ruin it, and filler soon shrinks and cracks, u`ll wish u aint of bothered.

Where is it going to be mounted? Also, are you going to get the other light removed and the hole filled?

No Ste, I meant Neil. Unless he's already said where he's going to mount it and I've missed that post?

Jim

will be mounted over the number plate facing down, and the other hole is getting filled and smoothed and sprayed when the accident damage is done.
