Mine didn't (mk2)

When you say larger trim what do you mean? I thought all mk2's had the same bit down the side, its just some had the vinyl as well?

If your unsure mate just peel it back a bit and see it will be easy to stick back on,If it has got pins and you still want to remove it just use a bit of filler and a touch up pen

I have a j reg 1992 1.2

Mine didn't have any pins, and if u do it carefully, lots of hot soapy water and maybe a hair dryer they come off nicely withut the paint.

Then to get rid of the residue get some "3G Sticker Remover" and a coarse cloth, not a rough cloth but like a swab, rather than smooth silk :-/

I'd left all that shite down the sides for months wondering how to get it off, the 3G stuff is better than meths and doesn't affect your paint work, litterly just rubs off with a coarse clothe. 10 minute job !

Erm...

Why don't you take the door panelling off and see if there are any pins sticking through!

If there are then there will be pins! doh!

If not rip away!

If it's any help I have a j reg SR MK2 and there weren't any pins in that.
