Take a look back over some older posts when u get a minute, there was something (i think in the Technical forum) about adjusting the camber

it's the camber mate.

Golf MK2s have adjustable strut bolts, buy two of them for a fiver. Apparently they fit, and you can adjust the top bolt out and the bottom bolt in for etxreme cases or just change the top bolt thus using two bolts per car and only costin a fiver.
Brilliant!

(filing may be required to get the buggers to fit)

Take it to a garage and ask them to adjust the camber.

^^^ where would i buy that from?

Soma garages will not bother with modified cars and will just say the wheels are too big/it's too low, and there's nothing they can do.

you can make the holes elongated in the strut tops and move them out by a few mm to correct the camber

Once you have done the camber, you will need to get it set up for the car, i.e. it needs to be retracked and camber set to correct settings, not manufacturers settings as these are right for std cars. Take it to some one who races cars too, they will know what they are on about. An average garage will track to manufacturers and take your money.
Fully adjustable front ends are wonderful!

After having mine lowered 60mm and running on 16s the inside of the tyres started to wear very fast so i took it to a garage were they did 4wheel alinement on it and its spot on now.
