I am thinking about purchasing some GTE side skirts for my nova, problem being,I have those annoying bumpstrips found on almost all novas X-( I have debadged the tailgate, and the red came up ok,but if u look closely u can see where the badges were :( I know that the bumpstrips on my car are stuck on,similar to the badges, has anyone got good ways or buffing the bodywork so the strips original paint aint too noticeable?,how many of those annoying white plastic clips do I need to fit some skirts on?-what else do I need?-Mr Dale,u fitted some lately, and I believe the antibes came with bumpstrips, how did u sort this out?,how has the rest of u sorted it out? thanx in advance

i took my badges off, and basically i wanted no trace whatsoever of the original badges. Give it several coats of autoglym paint restorer, and then several coats of autoglym intensive tar remover, and the use autoglym(lol i dont work for them!!!) super resin polish. This got rid of mine completely, and also worked when i removed the vinyl from the B pillar

u will need 16 clips for your side skirts mine were 14p each from vauxhall as for the bodywork u need to go to a auto paint supplier and ask for G3 rubbing compound it will bring it up a treat ;)
