did they use different types of door pins?
cos i have got two doors with long pins (about an inch long)
but the ones i have on the car at the moment are small and fit flush in the hinge (about half an inch)
so when i put the new doors on should i use the long ones that came with the door or the short ones that are on the car?
or get some new ones from vaux and take a lucky dip lol

i think they did make different ones as the ones out my GTE dont really fit my mates 5 door. A lot smaller, and i think they catch messing up the central door locking.

how do you get the pins out?
i need to take my door off
Door pin removal tool (about ?5-15) and a hammer! Basically u drop a pin with a flared end into the door pin, connect a bar and bash it with a hammer!
its a good idea to get someone to hold the door whilst you're doing this too....
