Fitting New Cam

Hopefully, thanks to a member on here, i will soon have in my possesion, a gte cam, my car is a standard 1.2i which 92mph top speed and only 45bhp(lol), the plans for the engine are the gte cam and followers, corsa airpox with cossie cone, sri manifold and downpipe, 1.4sp injector and a new back box!

my question is, as i dont know much about engines, if i add the gte cam, will i lose top end or pull away/mid range torque? or whatever?

you'll prolly gain "stuff" everywhere due to the valves opening a lot more with the gte cam

try and get everything fitted at once tho - it will make it feel much faster ;)

yeah if you only make it a bit quicker each time, it wont seem that much faster.
