head skimming

i've got a sri head which i have had ported to match a 1300 inlet and gas flowed, i am having it skimmed before i fit it. how much should/can i have taken off to up the cr? or is there not much point. the only other mods i've got are t40's and exhaust.

i've got some before and after pics of the head to post soon and will also have before and after rolling road results when it's all back together.

Basically just skim it till its flat! The increases in compression are fairly minimal anyway..

Give me a shout if you want a hand putting it all back together mate :D

putting back together is not a problem. finding all the bits in the garage is.

Lol! Im just off Ashbourne Road mate, about 5 mins from the city centre :D
