Irmscher spider Rebuild

some of you may know I had a Irmscher spider that was set on fire a few years ago, well its almost complete and back on the road, its taken some time but I can see light at the end of the tunel! Have a look and se for your self,

Opinions welcome, its going o be rebuilt to as close as standard spec as posible (yes ste I know the bits you have mentioned arent but to late now :roll: )

thanks karl, I ve got to the stage now where I just wan the car on the road so Im just working to geting her started and drivable. Then I will go back on to cleaning every thing to show standards. Yes I will be keeping both, may be ,make the other gsi spec with a 1.6 16v :wink: and use that as a regular use what ever the weather car! May even let the mrs drive it!!! :o Dont suppose Andy asked you about your lock set? In particular the boot lock is the only one I cant find. As for belgium I will be going from hull I think, if I can raise the cash for the extra cost of ferry. It so much easier than the driving to dover! Wil have to see!

Would be nice to see one with the 1.6 16v in as it wouldnt ruine the car, sounds good mate good luck.

Andy did ask me about the locks but i binned all the locks as i didnt think i would need them again! I will keep a look out though if you want. I know there are a few mk1's down the scrap yard near me. Would you want me to try and get you a rear lock mate aslong as it comes with the key?
