Interior Roof Cloth

Any one ever replaced a roof cloth on a nova? Is it tough? and how do you fix the new one to the roof as i imagine it would droop in the middle? Thanks

the lines in the current roof lining have sleeves on the underside, and in the sleeves thin metal rods are slid into them. these clip onto the roof.

if you made a new roof lining, best thing to do is either fit it onto the existing one. so if you like BOTH go back together on the roof.

or remove the fitting bars behind and replicate them on the new one.

ive ripped a few out, i cant imagine putting one back in is going to be fun though.

i'm thinking of sticking a sheet of vinyl to my existing head lining but i'm not sure what glue to use!
If you are fitting a vauxhall one, you have to remove ALL the non-opening windows i.e front back and rear side on a 3 door.

Lot of work. Anyone know a good glue for sticking vinyl to vinyl?
