i got a cd player otha week but when i have got round to installing it the wiring is differnt, the player has a big block of wires and the car has mass ammounts of wires. do i just match them up or is there a nack to doing it? or is it jsut worth me getting it installed by a fitter?

Is your nova a mk1 or mk2 ?


Im not sure about the mk1's but on the mk2's theres also a block bit coming from the car that just plugs into the block bit on the headunit and thats you

it sounds like ur wiring loom has had the iso conector cut off

so u'll have to read the instruction manual for ur hu, and then find the corresponding wires on the loom andeither cut the block of ur hu wiring or use chock blocks to connect them
