not sure about the dodgy white 1 hmmmm yours looks sweet tho mate well done love the evo bumper :lol:

Thanks! And yes - he tried pulling a bit of the vinyl off but the "Be arsed" factor was severly lacking!! :roll: He's thinking of getting it resprayed tho soon

love that mk1 bumper. Dont like anything else! the exhaust on the mk1 dont suit the car. They belong on a heavily modded car. He'd be better off with something a little more subtle.

Vinyls a pig of a job,unless you know someone that works in a bodyshop and ask them to fudge wheel it off :D

:D love the smell of the fudge wheel :D

Vinyl should be removed cos it may hide rust until it is terminal...

Yeah i know, he's got some rust coming through on his as well. I told him to take the vinyl off, but did he listen... tsk. Kids these days :roll:

lol ok first he decided to smooth it off with fibreglass. Without sanding it down first. Fudged a load of fibreglass on there, then sprayed a bit of halfords primer on. Because of all the oil and crud those pipes throw out the bumpers were covered in crap so the paint went all funny. Then the fibreglass fell off. :?

I showed martin this thread last nite... he was like "so what do they all think of my beast then"... suffice to say he got a bit ratty about some of the comments on his paint :lol:
