i have been told that 2.0 novas go through drive shafts and bearings really quickly.
is it true that the C20XE nova is unreliable?
if so, how?
cheers all

I have had my valver for 6months now and touch wood nothing gone wrong with it yet. No driveshafts, no clutch cables, nowt. I think it depends on how people put the engine in, slight angle and i believe this causes problems.

Mind you i was lucky to get my conversion done by Rifle Range Motorsports, very good.

i'm lucky to get a year out of pattern ones on my 1.4!

It's all to do with how you drive it.

If you treat every launch like a 1/4 drag race yes it will eat bearings and shafts. Lower it too much and use wrong offset wheels and this will put more strain on the shafts and bearings/cv's

Drive it on the redline regularly form cold and it won't last long.

In general, abuse it and it will break

LIKE ALL THINGS IN LIFE!

If you are asking these questions/worrying, don't even bother doing a valver.
