remote central locking

:x just about 10 minutes ago some son of a b**ch broke into my car and niked few bits but the worse is that they broke the lock on driver side as passenger side is delocked. now cant lock the door and want to get a remote locking fitted today but i have been asked if it can b locked from passenger side wich i dont have a clue. any1 can advise if its true that i need an extra motor fitted to get the remote locking working on a nova GTE G reg (1990)? an quick replies much appreciated.

Not sure if this is any help but on my 92 SR, theres a solenoid on both sides but only the drivers side operates both doors, if you unlock the passenger side it will only unlock the passenger door.

Hope thats some help, ive delocked and dehandled both sides so ive got none of that in there now but thats as i remember it.

need to put solenoid in drivers door as it is only a switcher only about 10 easy to fit take about 25 -50 minutes if your not running it off an alarm you have to get a five wire solenoid
