just wondering if anyone could help source a set of original nova mats with the vauxhall written large in red.
at my local dealer they can order them for 40 quid but theres no way of telling if they are the right ones or just plain old crap ones.
anyone?!

Try some scrap yards some cars might still have them in.
They might not be mint but nothing a wet vac won't sort out and they prob won't cost alot :wink:

If you can't find the originals, try www.autostyle.co.uk. They will make mats tailored to fit your car perfectly, with pretty much any writing style - so long as you show them what you're after. They won't be the originals you're after, but will look damn close - worth a shot?

Yes I get them from a dealer, but my mate is parts manager and i can get a cost+10% discount on some things.

Eg Irmscher backbox for Corsa c retail ?179 I get for ?99

The mats that are shown on that photo aren't the original ones as far as i am aware? The originals are rubber. I have a set of those on the photo bought from Vauxhall when they first came out and i'm sure they cost about ?60 :o but if you have a place called 'Autovaux' near you, they do them cheap there.

Autovaux source a lot of their parts from main dealers and sell them with a lower margin, so they undercut VX.

They are the 91-on mats, definitely genuine Vaux, the rubber ones are pre-91. They did still make them after 91 but no-one bought them LOL. You can still order them and they are ?40-60 dependent on discount applied at the counter.

I will put up a new thread this week with price to supply a brand new set of mats cos loadsa people have pm'd me about it.

Does anybody want a price for anything else???
