can anyone tell me what the best form of strengthening is?
i have haerd that some have been fully seam welded (whatever this is?) and others have bought strengthening kits and welded the plates into position. which one is beter? or are they equaly good?

seam welding is the process of going along all the seams (where panels overlap/join) with a bead of weld. But this is prone to cracking/splitting so stich welding is better. This is the same process except than instead of one continuous weld, it is broken up like stitches.

Strengthening kits are good but sometimes a bit over the top for road cars unless your pumping major power.

I dont mean seam welding is prone to cracking, but because it is a continuous line, if it starts to crack, the crack will propogate along the whole length. With stich welding, it will stop when it gets to the end of the stitch.
