HELP!!!. FUEL PROBLEMS!

HI ALL

WAS EXPERIENCING FUEL PROBLEMS A WHILE BACK WITH A NOISY FUEL PUMP ALSO MISS FIREING WAS HAPPENING. AND COULD NOT GET THE PUMP TO RUN QUIETLY, HAVE TRIED UR SUGGESTIONS BUT STILL NO JOY.. SINCE THEN HAVE PUT ON RE-CON PUMP, NEW PIPES ALL ROUND UP TO INJECTORS, NEW DAMPER AND CHECKED THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY TO THE PUMP! THE PUMP IS STILL WELL LOUD! AND ITS A DIFFERENT PUMP!! SOUNDS LIKE IT IS STRUGGLING TO WORK AND STILL GET MISS FIRE!?... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP. I HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS! YHE CAR IS A 1992 GSI.

the pump is normally loud when there is no fuel goin to it. but im sure you wou ld have checked that so the only thing i can think of is that the pump is not mounted to the chassis with rubber mounts. or is it in the tank on ures. if so im not sure what it could be
