LET how much

how much does the LET engine cost as im getting bored of spending shit loads of money on my 2.0 8v to make it quicker.
just a rough ammount. all i want is the engine with all the running parts. loom turbo manifolds etc...

ill use my old gearbox (if it fits)

i seen lets up for around the ?1000 mark and the f28 g/b for around ?250.. but they vary in price obviously.... not sure if u can use your gearbox as its probly a f16 (might be wrong) i have heard of people using the f20 box ok tho..

How much have you got! A LET can cost from ?1k to ?1.5k, if you buy one and dont see it running i would budget for a rebuild on the whole thing (another ?1k at least) fit the F28 its worth the extra thats about ?300+ for a good one + any bits and bobs while fitting the engine say ?250 and you end up with a cost of around ?2550 to do it properly. you might get 200bhp mate shit my 1800 is running 156bhp but imagine the torqe them things put out the boost the list goes on im gonna do it :lol:

i just bought a cav turbo and broke it.much, much cheaper way of getting the bits you want (pm me if you wanna know how much it cost me) +you know you're buying one that runs well, has a good engine/box etc. people get pi55ed when you break the cavs though and theres not many of them around, plenty of calibra turbos though...
