Nova Super chip

Any 1 had a Super chip fitted to their nov?
what difference do they make?
also what are these chips on ebay that say 20bhp increase?
they sound bull shit to me but has any 1 tride them?

the abay thing is just a device that increase the fuel mixture therefore increasing power. But you can do it yourself by turning up the screw. But there isn't much to gain though.

ive got a super chip in my 1800gte nova and the ecu's been remapped and ive got a winter ecu with hasent been touched if i change from one to the other it makes all hell of difference id reckomend getting one

all the work on my nova was done mate but i think it was done by superchips uk not sure il dig out the recipt :lol:

it ebay chip is a resisitor which goes on ur inlet manifold and fools ur ecu in2 thinkin the car goes up hill all the time its pish i think some one on here bolled there engine up with it

i recall hearing that to epo dodgy they are

they say it's an aprom chip but it isn't. It is just a shitty resistor that you can buy from any maplin shop.
