dizzy swapping

will a dizzy from a 1.3sr fit onto my mk2 1.2carb'd nova???


cos the vacuum advance unit on mine is knackered, i went to the scrappy and the 3 they had where all fucked aswell!! i can get a deal on 1.3sr dizzy with vacuum advance unit(working) so just wanted to know...

i think they are the same, not cetain. check that the dizzy cap is the same colour (black).

Best let someone on here confirm.

if it has a black cap then it will work as the drives are all the same on the black cap ones i think.

well cos i just got one off ebay, but someone else selling one on ebay said it wudnt fit as the wiring is different on 1.2 compared with 1.3sr's.
so have i just wasted my hard earnt cash??

(i bought it mainly for the vacuum advance unit)
so if the distributor dont fit then can i swap vacuum advance units?
