If your gonna keep the car for a few years then get it...but if you only want it for a few months for a bit of a buzz don't bother...cos when u sell it people will ring up and say "how many miles has it done...and how many owners has it had?" and if u turn round and say 13 they will laughand slam the fone done, unles your sellin it for a really low price. Your decision mate ;)

You say its got a chip, zorst and K&N. Does this give an extra 60bhp over std? I dont know much about RsT`s but that sound a bit optimistic. Can he prove the claimed 190bhp?

it's piss to chip a turbo up to big bhp's...but that's only the begining, cos the engine will be under so much stress it needs uprated gaskets, hoses, and all this shit...one of my mates had an E reg Turb's and he got a 195bhp chip...it was quick for about a month till it started running shitand blowing up every other time he booted it...i'd never own a turbo...they cost too much to insure, do about 20 MPG (if your lucky) and cost too much to run. Plus...they are gettin on a bit now, and have had young owners thrash the bollox off of them since day dot.

I know this is changing the subject a bit, but my brother used to have an Astra GTE 16v on an F plate. It was a minter (17's, lowered 35mm, truly immaculate bodywork, k&n for the induction noise ;)) and he bought it for ?1500...he had it for 3 years and it was the most reliable car he's ever had...plus it was V quick and had electric mirrors, POWER STEERING (which turbo's dont) recaro's etc etc

It's a shame, Astra GTE 16v are going for about -?1200 and they are such nice cars, quick (E and F reg GTE's had 156bhp as standard), reliable etc...i think when my nova days are over that's what i'll be getting...a lot of car for so little money

vrrooooom, tshhhhh, vrooooom, tshhhhh, bang! wtf was that. Hello AA my cars f**ked again.

All ford turbo's are unreliable. Make sure you've got ?2000 sat in a bank for repairs.

A mate had a "good" one and it cost him ?1500 in repairs in two months. The guy from burnley car audio used to have an escort cossie and said it spent more time in the garage than on the road.

If you buy it you'll be bankrupt in no time!
