Manifold joining onto 1.2 exhaust

My dads mate is putting a 1.4 engine out of an astra mk2 in my 1.2 carb and the 1.4 has a 4 branch on but doesnt connect upto the 1.2 exhaust system so hes putting my 1.2 manifold on for now but how can i avoid this as i want to put the 4 branch back on is there anyone who can make a pipe too fit.Or could i do it somehow.

Hmm the downpipe will be longer as its for an astra so i dont think it will mate up. You could just take the 4 branch & offer it up to fit. You might be able to use a 16.se exhaust section from gte.

i have the exact answer u need.

I had this prob.

u need the 'middle box' sectoin and 'manifold to middlebox' pipe. Then ur backbox from 1.2 will fit straight up 2 new middle box.

sorry i forgot to put u need that box and pipe off a 1.4sr. Or get it from motor manufacturer like i did for ?20 i think.

The 1400 and 1300sr zorst is diff u see.
