hi people, i recently tried to flush my boot, welded a piece of tin to it, used filler 2 try and smooth it, but now its sprayed it looks pathetic!!! any ideas where i can get a decent priced proper boot flush.. and do u have 2 have the bit that goes round the rear window as well to be able to fit the flush... cheers :lol:

check ebay you can buy a panel that kinda bonds to the boot dunno who good they are mind

thanks for the reply, but how does the blanking plate actually fit to the boot?

You can bond it on with something like stikaflex, or countersink some screws into it and smooth over them with some filler

I've never tried it myself, but they don't look that hard to get on, as long as you smooth them in ok. Some people have made comments as to the quality tho (not being that flat over the number plate recess), but if you've already got a filled recess you ought to be ok
