my mate and i are doing up a nova diesel for him.

we are wondering if putting a performance backbox on it would be pointless. hes not after performance increase just noise :lol:

ive seen it done on a diesel car before and it sounded pretty decent.
(burbled like a scooby)

your opinions are very welcome ladeez and gents

thanx

just a back box is fairly pointless.

I got a full custom system with smaller centre silencer and no back box just a straight through pipe now that actually burbles like a scooby- just a back box won't.

if it is a turbo diesel then take every last bit of silencing out of the exhaust, like mine and then it burbles like a skoob but if it is a normal derv then a free flowing back box will do fine, mine used to louder with a back box on and the 1.5 in than with my 1.7td in and no silencing.

turbo = good silencer
