a mate of mine gets his nova back from the bodyshop, soon it has an endless mod list done to the exterior, which i shall not list as he wants it top secret but there are some clever ideas being worked on. But i will post pics asap,


he has got a renault 19 16v run around and i think its quick for a wardrobe sized car, what do you think of em, underatted i think

19's are ok; but clio has same lump and is lighter. you'll get beaten by one of them. lol.

He has a 19 16v for a run-around and a 1.4SR for his main car? Surely it would be the other way round, lol!

You're right, they are a lot of car for the money and aren't THAT much slower in a straight line than the Clio 16v - but, put a few corners into the equation and the gap will be bigger. They are less sought after than the clio, and as a result seem to have depreciated much quicker, hence the good value for money.

engine spec:
1.6 8 valve engine from a h reg gte
WITH MANY INTERNALS
fully rebuild,lightened and balanced bottom end
blydenstein b+ head
kent cam
vernier pulley
janspeed 4 branch manifold
powerflow boxer style tail pipes one each side
uprated coil,leads and plugs
uprated petrol filter to suit weber twin 40's from a nova sport with polished irmsher air box
should be getting a roliin road figure soon too, pulls very well and sounds great, aswell as 17's and one off styling and a leather retrim to follow with ice, hence a r19 as a run around
