I put some G-max 30mm lowering springs onto my nova on the weekend but the back is still standard SRi 10-15mm cuz it started snowing and i got p*****d off with it all  . Anyway i cut the bump stops down on my SRi shocks and fitted the springs to them (cant afford new shocks at the mo!!). Took it out for a drive (when the snow had gone) and it handled really bad, very bad understeering. Does anyone know why? Also the wheels look to be slighty toed out at the bottom? any ideas much appreciated

It will handle crap if it's only lowered at the front when it's droped all the way round it will be better,I suppose it was wet too

tracking on the front makes a huge difference

The new spring will also be stiffer, so the fornt is stiffer than standard, and the back is standand = understeer.

I'm sure the "rust.." doesn't help with the handling either (chassis flex).
