How do you wire in digi dash?!

Anyone know;
1. What the pin bit is on the back of the digi dash?
2. How do you connect the loomish bit that almost fits on the back of it?
3. and are there any other bits i need to know?

Also tryin to remove the clock surround bits (on a mk2) e.g the headlight switch and where the hazard switch plugs in- any advice on how to get the bastards off would be appreciated :D

cheers mate was helpfull (i think) the guide for the mk2 isn't working but i think the wiring will be exactly the same as the mk1 so should be okay :D
