Which cars have the weber 32/34 DMTL as standard equipment? Can't afford a new 1, or to buy 1 off anybody on this forum so I'm gonna go scrapyard searching!

The 32/34 DTML can be found on LandRover 90 and 110. The 32/34 DTMR can be found fitted to 1.5 and 1.6 Fiat Strada/Regata.
At the scrappers if the bloke asks you about the carbs then just act stupid and you might be able to get them for about 20quid if the bloke doesn't know they are Webers.
But don't forget you need the other parts as well, and the carbs will need re-jetting to suit your engine.

And am i right in thinking that some Nova Sports came with the Weber.

Hope this helps

Yeah the chances of seeing a Nova Sport in a scrappers is slim, i have only ever seen 1 on the road.

Thats ok coz I'm not interested in Twin Webers. (not permitted in Road Rally Regulations!). Just need a new carb really, mines starting to get on my nerves! (Idle adjust screw is seized!)

What year Land Rover etc is that?

I think your right about some sports having that weber carb, not many but a few i think did for the fuel concious owner. Oh and I've seen one nova sport on the road :) sounded amazing:+:

I don;t know what year Land Rover, it could be all of them. Its best to probably just check any Land Rovers you find. They should be pretty easy to spot.

the fiesta does not have the 32/34 DTML carb, they have a similar one, but its not the exact model that "we" use

they have something like a webber 32/34 DMTR or some code with a P in it lol. I cant remember the entire contents of two carb books lol

The Fiesta XR2i doesn't even have a carburettor! lol! Is it only the DMTL that fits the Nova? (easily I mean!)

the original XR2 is carb its the mark 3 one that is injection. It can be fitted to the nova with an adapter plate but at the end of the day it came off a ford, could you live with that.

I can live with that - if it was made by Ford I couldn't live with it!

The XR2's came with a weber 32/34 tldm if i'm correct. U can fit then to the nova but there not as tunable as the dmtl. I found a weber 32/34 on a nova in my local scrap yard but i left the carb and just had the base plate.

So its worth checking all the nova's u find as well. Good luck hunting.

i think the i in the xr2i gives it away a bit that the car doesn't have a Carb.

i = injection silly. lol.
