Engine Similarity?

Was thinking or replacing ma sri bottom end and i was wondering do any of you know what other nova or vauxhall engine has the same bottom end as the sri?

I have been told the 1.4sr engine has the same bottom end but does it matter if it was a carb engine and mine is injection.

no its not the same, c14se only found in 91-94 astras and 92-93 nova sri's

so does that mean any multi point injection mk3 Astra will have the same bottom end as the sri? where do you get the code for the type of engineyou have? :wink:
