More updated ones soon....

Hopefully when I get home from work my nice new re-manufactured engine will be waiting. Nice lowered compression [without a cack spacer plate] ready for 14LBS of boost.

Here's some pics anyways:

very nice. what engine is that? is that a custom made exhaust manifold or off the shelf job?

looks like quite a good job seems to be a very long flow from the turbo back up tho

very nice. IS that chris's old one (think his name was chris, sorry havent spoken to him since pv last year so not to sure  )

If it is or still is his then it is a 1.6 with a turbo conversion

I love the paint work on that car! :D It looks amazing!

Yeah it's my old car, I sold it to Dave. Car has had an appetite for engines lately, this will be the 3rd one since I sold it, but at least this one should hold together a bit longer, fingers crossed!!!
The car has had alot of one off fabrication done to it now to overcome the bodge work that had been done in the original turbo conversion, as you can see from the manifold and intercooler. The car is mainly going to be used by us to test/develop ideas, so will most likely be a work in progress, as we do one job we're constantly seeing ways to improve it next time around, we've already got an idea of how to make a better manifold than the one thats on there!
Fingers crossed I'll talk DAve into taking it to PV so you guys can take a look, but we've got alot of work to get done before then, as those pics were taken before the bonnet flew open creating us more work!
We'll hopefully get some more pics up next week once we've got the engine back in and running.

Wasn't this original work done by VX-Tuning?

I always thought my 1.6 Turbo was a bodge and that was an early Courtenay set up...
