I have a C20LET with the mechanical distributer. Can i remove it and use a dizzy pack instead? I take it i would need to change the ECU also?

Any other options?

the ecu needs to know what is going on the engine, thus having the dizzy cap with rotor arm, it knows where the pistons are and where tdc is etc, so by gettiing rid of that, you'll need to have a crank sensor,which is a bigger bottom pully with notches in it,and a sensor.
i dont really know anything about the 2.0let, and whether the provision for one is there or not but the ecu wont understand anyway if its designed for a dizzy. so yes i think youll have to change ecu. thats what i think anyway! as no one else has replied! why do you want to change anyway?
obviously theres the higher reliability rate etc etc but for the gain is it worth the pain?
