have a problem with me car sometimes.
when it warms up (temp goes to half way) it starts to play up fires on 3 and sometimes cuts out anyone any ideas what it could be?

have changed the thermostat, plugs & leads an sprayed some sealer onto them an around the dizzy cap.

any ideas???

its injection yeah.

it could well be the temp sensor that plugs into the injection loom. not the one that goes to the dash with the spade connector on.

it could be the co level on the afm too.

If you stop it for a minute and then restart does it run ok? Or does it keep heating up to half and running bad every time?

9 times out of 10 will run perfectly when it's been switched off then restarted
what you thinking???

m.d the SV unit as standard has some funky ecu and sensors as you described. but hes running it on a carb.

do you have all the correct inlet anifolds on and everything is matched up....?

even if it were injection and the temp sensor was playing up, the ecu would not switch it down to three cylinders.

do you have all the correct inlet manifolds on and everything is matched up....?
