hello, newbie here, i drive a nova GSi XE and have had 3 previous SR's

here are some pics of my Nova GSi valver, if anyone is interested.

below is a picture of the nova when i bought it, in need of a wee clean up and just been serviced

a picture showing the strut brace i made to fit the existing brackets, the new plug cover and the carbon heat shield.

a pic taken at the above mentioned cruise (if you look closely, i'm the one on the right who appears about a foot taller than the rest)

picture from the front

a view of the homemade install, basic but does the job. the tailpipe and heat shield are on the "to do" list

Now with speedlines, stainless steel rocker bolts, polished the strut brace, headlamp lens protectors and replaced gsi grill badge.

Nice clean car. Is the reg in connection to the actual bhp of the car?

used to! it ran throttle bodies but the guy who built it took them off, probably because the he wouldn't get his money back on them. I'm seriously considering buying them but they are alot of money to spend on a nova. still, would be nice to have a 200+bhp nova!

Very nice car mate, very subtle, looks great, nice plate too.

I would recommend you get that tailpipe cut into the bumper
& moved up slightly, apart from that, it looks great !!

i used to like them but kind of went of them, i want speedlines!!!

can anyone recommend a set of wheels and how the fuck to you get regular 16's (not speedline offset) and 17's to fit??? my arches are rolled, rum avo coil-overs with 15" et49's and 195x50's yet they still rub when cornering hard or when there are peeps in the back. also, its got rear discs which i think is the culprit! can anyone send me a guide for rear disc conv. cause i think maybe the guy hasn't removed a plate or something?

here is a picture of the white one shortly after buying it with my old red sr, i have already fitted the splitter, mesh grill, alu fuel filler cap, lowered it 60mm and fitted a new set of alloys. (it was bog standard when i bought it, even had the black steel wheels)
PS. It might be for sale soon! was planning on just keeping it with the valver but its going to end up just wasting away!

The vinly makes the car. Without it, it would look like a poo Merit

ok, there might be a little bit of confusion here, there are two white nova's here, a "J" plate GSi and a "K" plate SR, the sr was bought in march 2001 and i've still got it, its the one that might be for sale soon, the GSi was bought last year and is a 2ltr 16 valve which is the topic, the SR is posted :P

bump

should be getting better pics soon, brighter engine shots (should be fitting and polishing the s/steel bolts tonight) with the strut brace finially complete and a new, brighter rear shot showing the install and new plastic trim which goes along the bottom of the "opening" to protect the paint (which i didn't even know you could get for a nova!).

also new is...

lens protectors
GSi grill badge because the old one was faded.

you can't get them.... cause they were only fitted on vans and they only do them in grey
