Will carrying an XE engine in my 1.4SR from Leicester back to Southend fuck my car? Taking out back seats etc.

wouldnt really recomend it, cant you get a car with a tow bar and one of those trolly cart things to go on the back prob a safer option
an XE weighs about 125KG iirc
cant be much different from carrying a few fat birds in the back :lol:

It wont fuck your car atall but make sure the engine is upright (or drained of oil) and secured properly
Shouldnt be a problem at all i carry them round all the time.

yup no probs i had 2 x 1.6 in mine make sure they are tied down... and they will dent the floor etc

an XE weighs about 125KG iirc

125kg equates to 19.68 stone,

well, i got back finally, it was fucking pissin it down with rain, so me K&N was dripping wet, and kept bloody freezing! Carb icing is gay.
XE went in, 3 of us lifted it in, dented n scratched my rear bar thing wheres the boot locks.
Had no money as werent for me, and had petrol light come on on the M25, run out in basildon (20 mins from home), mate was there with a jerry can full though. :D
Oh yeh and that big dirty old XE went through my back window on the M1, so i was fucking freezing all the way home. :cry:
Bit of a shit journey really :cry:

Oh well. Just carpet over the boot slam panel. Thats what i did. Not sure if you saw it down southend on sat.
