if the engine is out stitch weld the engine bay (for road use)

you can get rally kits which cost a bit (for rally use)

really you should strengthen the car for a pure 2litre carb engine, so a turbo is a must the amount of torque it rips up lol

yeah stitch weld. Make sure the garage that does it actually stitch welds and not seam welds. Seam welding is just a line joining two panels. Stitch welding is a two inch long weld then a gap then a two inch weld and a gap etc. This is so if a weld splits, the split wont run down the entire weld. You will still need to get it welded again but it gives you a bit more time to notice it before the engine falls out.
