im not too knowledgeable on carbs matey, but iirc the weber is up on power to the pierburg slightly (bigger jets i think), and is generally a more reliable item (the pierburgs are notoriously sh1te, esp the auto-chokes).
for ?25 id say its a bargain.

Snap the guys hand off if you can get one for ?20/25!!
Much better than the pierburg, both in terms of construction, performance, reliability, and fuel economy! :D

stu got one for a fiver previously :!:

scrappy didnt know what he was selling.

think of it like this. the pooburg is the std part. the weber 32 34 is the direct REPLACEMENT!? and clues for guessing which is better :P

Power wise then theres not much in it (with a properly set up Pierburg for comparison) but for reliability and all round betterness (what a word!) then the Weber wins. for ?25 get it! Even a slight power improvement is worth it.

Just out of interest - what air filter do you use with the 32/34??

bit expensive innit
ive got 3 spares at home and none cost more than ?10 with the adapter plates and everything.

the weber is better on power as its throttle plates are larger
the pierburg is good when running correctly as it is a lot smoother running / power delivery.

you need to run a foam or dome topped filter, such as ITG or ramair. none of this restrctive K&N rubbish

What RamAir one would fit a 32/34?

I was thinking more like a proper air box - not one of those poncy little things. I have an E-9181 K&N Filter out of the mazda I wanna fit in something! lol! (currently attached to an Aisan 2bbl carb which is equal to the Weber 32/34, apparantly - looks on the small side to me!)
