which one will give me more power/torque??
as im off down the scrappy for a vacuum advance unit i may aswell look for a manifold!
cheers

if you want the manifold, you will also have to get the rest of the system, as you WILL need the 2 pipe downpipe. This has a different angle it attaches to the middle section, so you will need the middle section as well. Backboxes are in general universal though. So, to recap, you will need the GTE manifold, GTE downpipe, GTE middle section and some sort of backbox (can use your old one). HOWEVER you will not be able to keep the CAT (if you have one), unless it is a newer GSI exhaust and also make sure whether you have a hole for a lambda sensor in the manifold (if you have one).

its for my 1.2 carb'd nova (no cat or lambda). i can get a 4-1 manifold new for under a 100, or there is a second hand one for sale round my area. but in the tuning guide it says get a twin downpipe from a gte/gsi.
i either get the new/secondhand manifold (4-1) then a full exhaust system or get a 2nd hand 4-2-1 manifold with 2 downpipe then get a full system for a gte/gsi
i can do either (i think) so just wana know which will/should give a better power increase.

by vauxhall design the 4-2-1 on the sri gte and gsi are pretty good.
they are definitely a good option to buy as they are cheap.
if money will stretch go all the way and buy a new one though, a performance one..... why not?
