changing cam, wats needed?

i know i need new gasket, new oil seal new gaskets for water pump, new cylinder head bolts.

should i get new lifters/valves??

ive done this-it can be done 2 ways bodge or propper-i bodged
slip the belt off the top cam pully, but slacken off the nut first or it will be hard later, dizzy off, then drain all the water and undo the head bolts, takin off the cam carrier only (watch the rockers and shims dont fall into the engine) swap the cam and put some intant gasket inbetween head and the cam carrier. tighted up the head bolts (18lbs followed by 3 lots of 60degree turns) piece of piss dont undo the water pump its more hasle than its worth, the belt should slip on and off retaining its tightness. done it many times.
