K&N Filter problem..??

ive got a 1.0 nova, just bought a K&N filter and fitted it. i took off the old black circular one which had 2 tubes/pipes leading into it. however whenever i put the K&N filter on, the two tubes that had been going into the old filter are lying loose......
is this normal??
where should they be going?

One is a hot air feed, helps the cars running when its cold. You can drill a hole on the base of the K&N and stick this one back in. Not essential, you can just leave it loose (tie it somewhere tho to keep it out the way) but it'll help the car in cold weather.

I'm not sure what the other one is, but i'm going on my 1.2 and that only had one spare tube so i'm guessing its a bit different on the 1.0...?

The tube's that connect to the black filter???If they are the one's your on about it's fine you can get a little k&n breather filter for them for about 9.99 the pipes are just oil breather :wink:
