Whats the best way to revive the original bumpers so they dont go all faded and look shite after its rained and what not.
Can you just laquer them or something to give them a nice dark greay appearance?

i got me sum stuff from the local citroen dealers...its showroom stuff. isnt possible to buy in the shop.
its a clear liquid and all you do is apply it with a brush to your bumbers - or any black trim on the car - and it works wonders. keeps them black (or if grey bumpers then they turn a DARK grey) for about week or two depending on how claen you keep your car.
il look in the garage and get the name of it for you later (too cold now!)
cost me about ?15
hope this helps!
exterior car trim spray from Halfords works really well. HOWEVER if you do use this you are coating your bumper in silicone and so if you ever want to paint the bumper you will have fun

Yeah I use the Autoglym stuff and it works great, but isnt a permenant solution. So after a while it just goes back to how it was after a wash or 2.
