I got a sportex manifold for my sri, went to get it fitted and the guy at powerflow says its the wrong 1 coz the hole for the lambda sensor is to far down. is he right or can i get a longer wire for the lambda?

you can simply extend the wire for the lambda sensor

ya they made my system and when they fitted it my down pipe bracket snapped :o so they had to weld a pipe between the system and the down pipe so i need a bracket putting on my system to fit the manifold...

I think powerflow is a franchise, so don't judge them by the qork of 1 garage. my Powerflow garage did a good job on my car and i'm very happy with them.

what u will find is if its too far away from the original position (ie in the 4-1 collector) u will need a heated probe cos the probe wont get hot enough down there and wont work right

not that im an expert - i aint got a clue about this subject

but there was talk that velos can buy in el cheapo rover lamda sensors (heated) and these are the best money can buy.
