the engine in the rally car is a standard GSi setup.
The coil i'm using is the cylinder type (that doesn't need the green and black connected just the module is plugged in)
spark is good from the coil.
At a lead when spark is checked its not constant and sometimes only sparks the second the key is let off.
When the engine can be got started it runs ok but its starting that is the problem. this happen before in a GSi road car ie. turning over but only fired when the key was let off.
The distributer has been changed and makes no difference.
