be out most of the day with my new engine on the ground and the sr sitting over it. but i've been finding it really difficult to get the engine mounts lined up and bolted in!! is there any specific way i could do this or any order to make it a bit easier. starting to lose ma temper with it!! :evil: :lol:

Awkward to do on your own but not impossible.

Jack the engine from underneath to make it more manouverable.

If you have a hoist still use this as well if not get a piece of woodlonger than the engine bay is wide and bridge the gap and tie rope round the engine and shift it around a bit until the holes line up.

First of all just put one bolt in each mount finger tight so you dont pull it off centre.

what engine r u trying to fit, if it is a 2ltr 8v or 16v ull need new brackets.

If ur having probs try putting the front left engine mount on finger tight then the rest, after 1 bolt is in as him above said the egine will find its own center, Other then that out the mount on the engine THEN in the car.
